600D PES REC BS

• D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
• PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
• PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
• REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
• BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.

PFC FREE: This Deuter product is free of per- & polyfluorinated chemicals. Deuter thus reduces the use of environmentally harmful substances that pollute the environment and health. PFC is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water - dirt- and grease-repellent properties. Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation that is harmless to health and the environment.
