Hadani’s journey into running began in the most unexpected way. Once a self proclaimed “couch potato,” Hadani never imagined she would one day thrive on the challenge of ultra endurance events. But a simple jog around a lake in 2020, encouraged by her sister, sparked a transformation that would change her life.
Uplifting Others
Today, Hadani is a passionate ultra runner and mental health advocate who channels her energy into uplifting others. She volunteers with Speed Freaks, a charity that supports people recovering from addiction and mental distress through walking and running. Known for her bold spirit and playful sense of purpose, Hadani’s challenges often carry a message.
In one of her most ambitious undertakings, she completed the “10 Marathons in 10 Days” challenge dressed in a chicken suit to raise funds for Speed Freaks and highlight the impact of movement on mental well-being.
Power of Movement
Hadani has completed multiple ultra events, including a 100-miler and seven backyard ultras, with five finishes surpassing the 100-mile mark. Her achievements reflect a tenacity that continues to grow with each race, recently placing third overall after running 250 kilometres at the Arrowtown Backyard Ultra.
Whether she’s tackling ultra distances or cheering on others from the sidelines, Hadani runs with heart, humour, and a deep belief in the transformative power of movement. With new challenges always on the horizon, she continues to push her limits, and inspire others to discover their own.
