Made without PFAS

Made Without PFAS: This product has been manufactured by deuter without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals with the aim of reducing reliance on substances that are harmful to the environment and health. PFAS are used, among other things, as a waterproofing finish due to their water, dirt and grease-repellent properties. deuter now uses an environmentally friendly DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that is harmless to human and animal health.

Materials:

100D REC PA HT BRIGHT

Lightweight and robust polyamide fabric. A high thread density ensures special strength. The ripstop structure is designed as a honeycomb structure and gives the fabric a special look.
  • D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
  • PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
  • PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
  • REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
  • BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.
